If there is one restaurant you have to try while visiting La Ceiba it is Playa Taty’s. It has been open for going on two years now, and is open 7 days a week for dinner (not for lunch).

Playa Taty’s has everything going on that you would expect from a beach restaurant: bright colors, a palm leaf roof, a little patio thing overlooking the beach. The atmosphere is quite relaxing, which puts you in the perfect mindset to enjoy some good food!

B.J.s Backyard bar and restaurant in Oak Ridge is one of the best places to get away from the crowds, kick back, relax and enjoy a cold beer and some of the freshest, best seafood around. This small fishing village is a great way to get a feel for what Roatan is really like.

Specialties at B.J.s Backyard include island style seafood (of course), delicious homemade French bread, and Bread Pudding with Rum sauce.

B.J.s Backyard really is amazing, overlooking Roatan’s unique Mangrove Canal. After lunch, you can walk down B.J.s Backyard dock and hire a small boat to navigate through the canal, past several lagoons, and straight to Caribe Point.
