Surrounded by the Mesoamerican barrier reef, the second largest in the world, the Honduras Bay Islands are a popular tourist destination. In the summer months cruise ships dock at Roatan several times a week. Roatán’s weather, people and culture make this island a haven for overworked tourists in need of some rest.
