For a night of partying in Tegucigalpa, Lonely Planet claims that Bamboo is the city’s most exclusive night club, and while I may not agree completely
with that, it is a pretty happenin’ night scene.
At Bamboo party goers dress to impress and dance the night away on the large sunken dance floor. The crowd is a mix of locals and foreigners, with everyone just looking to have a good time. The music is great, but not a ton of variety, so if you don’t like regueton, this might not be the place for you.
Bamboo is open from 9 pm -3 am and specials are common from Wednesdays (Ladies night) to Fridays. On Ladies Night the drinks are just 1 Lempira! Other drink specials feature deals on the national beer. Saturdays are the busiest nights and from time to time there will be live performances and other special events.
Basically if you are looking to have a little fun, mix it up with some locals, drink and dance, Bamboo is the place for you.
Bamboo is located on Blvd Morazán, E of Colonia Palmira. Make sure and take a trusted taxi home.

LOL! Can’t trust Lonely Planet! Although I have great fun times in Bamboo, it is far from being the most exclusive night club in Tegus, the total opposite.
Lots of fun here but not exclusive at all. There are some other places walking distance away that wouldn’t let our group in because one of the guys looked to mestizo and another was wearing dirty boots. Bamboo let us in. Most people from teguc say bamboo is a little dangerous even and that mobsters hang out there. Who knows.
