There is no better way to enjoy Utila’s beautiful waterfront than from Café Mariposa. The upstairs open air seating is a great place to relax and enjoy a meal or a drink with friends.

The atmosphere is great; friendly staff mix with locals and visitors speaking a mix of English and Spanish. The place is super relaxed and casual. An inexpensive menu means you can get a full dinner plate, complete with fresh fish, rice and vegetables for between 5 and 10 dollars. Coca Cola or beer will cost you just a buck.

Café Mariposa is located near the ferry terminal in Utila; it’s two stories and bright yellow, making it quite easy to spot. Check out the Café’s website here.
